Who is behind Coral Gables Guide
Coral Gables Guide is written and kept current by LPE Realty LLC, a licensed Florida real estate brokerage (DBPR license CQ1075686) that serves South Florida. We started it because the answers people look for about the City Beautiful are scattered across City department pages, venue websites and old travel lists: what the Venetian Pool charges a visitor, which garage is closest to Miracle Mile and what it costs, when the free trolley stops for the night, and what is on at Gallery Night this month.
We are not the City of Coral Gables, the Biltmore, the Venetian Pool or any shop or restaurant on Miracle Mile, and none of them pays us. They set the hours, fees, dates and rules on these pages, so each page points you to them for the final word.
How a page gets made here
- Most of the work is reading primary pages: the City’s parking, trolley, pool and events pages, Miami-Dade County’s park pages for Matheson Hammock, and each venue’s own site. The source sits next to the fact it supports, with the day we read it.
- When two publishers disagree, as the City’s older Matheson Hammock listing and the County’s newer fee table do, we use the newer figure from the body that runs the place and say which one we used.
- If a 2027 date has not been announced, such as the next Farmers Market season in front of City Hall, the page says it is not posted yet.
- The parking picker and the day planner measure in a straight line between map points, starting from City Hall on Biltmore Way, so the real walk around Coral Gables’ blocks runs a little longer.
- The pictures are photographs of Coral Gables from Wikimedia Commons, used under their Creative Commons licenses; the photographers and licenses are listed on the photo and film credits page, and the home page film is a slow cut of those same pictures.
- No made-up prices, star ratings or reviews. A restaurant that publishes no address or hours is left off rather than guessed at.
